On April 7, 2016, Pump & Valve Research Institute held an exchange meeting on the progress of research projects in the research institute in the large conference room. At the meeting, the main person in charge of related projects of the technical department discussed the "application platform of laser-arc composite technology in the pump and valve industry" and "the study of the characteristics of solid-liquid two-phase flow in valves under severe conditions and the failure analysis of sealing surfaces" in the form of PPT. , "Austenitic stainless steel green surface corrosion resistance strengthening technology research", "water medium valve adjustment characteristics and flow coefficient test bench", "pump valve technology service standardization pilot" and other 19 projects were reported. Regarding the research content of the project, the reporter reported the current progress of the project, raised the existing problems and difficulties, and elaborated the ideas for follow-up research.
Finally, Dean An Zongwen made a concluding speech. He fully affirmed the exchange meeting and gained a lot, and said that he will hold separate seminars on individual important research and development projects to ensure that the projects can be carried out in an efficient and orderly manner. He pointed out that scientific research is allowed to fail, and the road to scientific research is not always smooth sailing. At present, most of the researchers in the Institute are young people with insufficient engineering practical experience. They hope to strengthen their learning, dare to innovate, and further improve their technical level. The Institute will also give the greatest support to the research and development of the project.
