Matters needing attention in the use of industrial valves
1) Do not operate at high temperatures for a long time or run without load for a long time;
2) Do not use beyond the design pressure; avoid using when the temperature is higher than the design pressure; prevent working at high temperature for a long time; prevent over-temperature work; avoid working under high load for a long time; Long-term no-load operation to prevent overheating.
3) Do not place the valve in a corrosive location or near equipment with corrosive gases.
4) Do not install the valve outdoors or in direct sunlight.
5) During installation if water leakage or air leakage is found, stop using it; if it has been started, find out the reason; if the sealing surface is damaged, repair or replace it with a new sealing surface in time.
6) Check the valve before loading and unloading.
7) After the valve is installed, check its appearance and whether the bolts are loose.
8) In order to facilitate operation and maintenance, the valve must be flexible, reliable, well sealed, and easy to open and close; at the same time, it is also required not to make the valve stem swing violently or force the valve seat to be pressed.
9) Always keep it clean. If there is dirt attached to the valve, use chemical solvents such as gasoline to clean it; if necessary, use a stainless steel wire brush or a steel wire brush to remove the remaining dirt.
10) It is not allowed to wipe the dirt on the valve stem and valve disc after the valve is not used for a long time; it is not allowed to use wire brushes and other tools to remove dirt on the valve stem.
11) For safety reasons, valves with a service life of more than 2 years should be repaired or replaced.
12) The valve must pass the pressure test and pressure test of the inspector before leaving the factory before it can be used. Before installation, check whether the bolts and gaskets are loose and whether they are damaged; after installation, check whether the sealing surface is scratched or cracked. ;The operation panel should be free of rust, check and confirm that the stem nut is fastened reliably; the valve stem nut has been tightened to the position specified in the design, and then debug and pressure test; the operation panel should work under normal operating conditions.
13) When overhauling the valve, it should be operated in strict accordance with the overhaul procedures.
14) When used in conjunction with other equipment, it should be operated with the prior consent of the technical staff of the manufacturer.
15) The opening and closing torque of the valve is mainly realized by the movement of the stem nut, valve disc, gate plate and opening and closing parts.
